Kansas City, Kansas – A motorbike crash in the Coronado neighborhood on Thursday resulted in two fatalities, police confirmed.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. on 27th Street near Denver Avenue, involving two motorcycles. Authorities reported that one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second succumbed to injuries at a medical facility. The victims were identified as two males, ages 25 and 29.
Emergency responders from the Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department provided medical aid. The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area as both directions of 27th Street were temporarily closed for safety and to facilitate the investigation. Towing services were summoned to clear the wreckage from the roadway.
