E-bike crash on Boise Bench claims the life of a young boy.

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A collision with an E-bike Thursday evening resulted in the death of a juvenile rider after he succumbed to his injuries.

Boise Police and Fire responded to the incident shortly after 8:00 p.m. near Phillippi St. and Morris Hill Rd. According to authorities, a motorcyclist traveling north collided with two juveniles on an E-bike heading westbound.

The motorcyclist, an adult male, was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The E-bike was operated by a juvenile male, who was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. A juvenile female on the E-bike also received treatment for minor injuries.

Authorities are conducting a reconstruction of the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
