MANCHESTER — A township woman is in critical but stable condition following a collision between an E-scooter and an SUV on Route 37, authorities said.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m. on Monday, June 8, at the intersection of Route 37 and Buckingham Drive.
Emergency responders from the local police and fire departments arrived on the scene shortly after the accident. The woman, who is 28 years old, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities closed the eastbound lanes of Route 37 for approximately two hours while they conducted an investigation. The roadway was reopened at around 8:15 a.m.
Witnesses reported seeing the SUV veering into the E-scooter's path just before impact. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
