JOHNSTON, R.I. (WJAR) — A 19-year-old was arrested early this morning following a rollover crash involving a utility pole on Greenville Avenue.
Elvis Goins was charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and refusal to submit to a chemical test, according to the Johnston Police Department. The incident occurred at approximately 2 a.m. when Goins allegedly crashed into a utility pole, causing his vehicle to overturn.
Authorities reported that Goins exhibited multiple signs of impairment after being extracted from the wreckage. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
