Crash Involving Ambulance in Allendale Leaves No Injuries

ALLENDALE, Mich. — A collision between an ambulance and an SUV on Lake Michigan Drive at 48th Avenue yielded no injuries Thursday morning around 5:00 a.m., according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

The LIFE ambulance was responding with lights and sirens while westbound on Lake Michigan Drive when it was struck by a northbound SUV driven by a 45-year-old man from Hudsonville, who failed to yield at the intersection.

No injuries were reported from either vehicle. The incident is currently under investigation, and no additional details have been released regarding potential citations or charges.

Traffic was briefly impacted, but all lanes have since reopened.
