Serious Injuries in Mapunapuna Two-Car Crash

MAPUNAPUNA, HI — A 39-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in a two-car collision that included a rollover on Thursday afternoon, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

Emergency crews responded at approximately 3:41 p.m. to the intersection of Puuloa Road and Mapunapuna Place, where one vehicle had overturned. Paramedics provided advanced life support to the injured woman before transporting her to an emergency room in serious condition.

A 35-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were evaluated at the scene but declined transportation, EMS reported.

Authorities are investigating the incident, and further details are pending. Traffic delays occurred in the area due to lane closures while emergency responders attended to the scene.
