Motorcyclist Killed in Beacon Falls Crash
A 19-year-old man died following a motorcycle collision with a car on Beacon Valley Road Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly before 12 p.m. Police reported that the motorcyclist veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with another vehicle. Emergency responders transported the rider, identified as Ethan Viele of Naugatuck, to Waterbury Hospital Trauma Center with serious injuries.
Despite medical efforts, Viele succumbed to his injuries later. The crash remains under investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Troop I at 203-393-4200.
