Community Vigil Scheduled Following UPS Plane Crash in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A “Community Night of Hope” prayer vigil is set for Friday at Turfmutt Great Lawn at 7 p.m., inviting the public to honor victims of the recent UPS plane crash.
Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. This event follows another vigil held Thursday at Teamsters Union Hall, where community members, including many UPS employees and local leaders, gathered to mourn and support one another.
As of Friday morning, authorities confirmed 13 fatalities, including a child, with additional individuals still missing. Search and recovery efforts are actively ongoing.
